A slight update on this, I tried out a gentoo installation - it sees the 
drives as scsi, whereas it saw the same ones as ata when attached to a 
TX2000 - so I'm wondering if these newer TX4000's have had a firmware 
change (as I *know* there are folks one this list that run the 4's....)
