"Problem Report kern/12896 : Incorrect CPU model display at boot time"
was submitted on "Sat Jul 31 01:20:00 PDT 1999" and "fixed in 3.4-stable"!

So, either there's a glitch in the bug tracking system, or (if widespread) it's an DoS attempt, or mere spam?

Regards,
