ERROR: Required proxy user is missing, see /usr/src/UPDATING. ironically i didnt bother doing that, but have done the following. mergemaster -a (presuming it'll do the same as mergemaster -p) vipw - to re-do the passwd file, presuming itd fix the proxy problem Yet nothing has changed the fact i still get the damn error.
