I did not say anything about the script name; I understand perfectly that .py suffix here allows it to coexist peacefully with whatever htpasswd might be installed by users' favorite web server. Moreover, this little utility might be a bit special since its pythonic nature probably should be reitereated for good reasons. However, given that many ports that do not warrant this naming are being committed in a similar fashion, my primary concern was to raise the point that such decisions should be carefully thought out and backed up by sufficient reasoning. ./danfe
