This text was included on the back of the 5.0 snapshot CDROM from last year : "The FreeBSD 5.0-CURRENT SNAPshots are works in progress, and are intended solely for developers who are developing software on FreeBSD. There are no guarantees about the stability of these snapshot releases, although we make every attempt to thoroughly test the releases before production."
