When I tried to pkg_add -rv pkg-name got message that file could not be found on FTP server xxxxx or server could not be reached or no access allowed. Before these messages it also said passive ftp enabled. I then used FBSD web/ports to locate the package and downloaded to a win box and then moved it to FBSD. I can not get pkg_add to find and use this package tgz file. Does the package tgz file have to be in some directory for the pkg_add to find it? IF so where?
