I don't know the extent to which this might be relevant, but I'm using a Fujitsu LifeBook 675Tx, which has a "NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD SVGA controller" (according to dmesg); XF86Setup says it has 2MB memory onboard. I have it set to 1024x768x16, which seems to be OK. I'm running FreeBSD 4.0-R (w/XF86 3.3.6) just fine. [Only nuisance so far is the touchpad: tapping it appears to be *identical* to a press/release of the left mouse button, thus preventing the ability to make a distinction between the two actions.] Cheers, david -- David Wolfskill dhw@whistle.com UNIX System Administrator voice: (650) 577-7158 pager: (888) 347-0197 FAX: (650) 372-5915 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hardware" in the body of the message
