Answer: You can put the required line in /etc/fstab, and provide access details (workgroup, user, password and such stuff) in /etc/nsmb.conf. See the manpages for fstab, nsmb.conf and mount_smbfs for details. If you encounter problems with networking _not_ being up when the mount is performed, see the "late" option described in "man mount".
