Heh.  This droppage would, of course, depend on deployment of the
Remote Beer Protocol.  :-)

Back on topic, I've tagged doc/ with the RELEASE_4_9_0 tag and I'm
doing a test build to make sure it's all happy now.  If all goes well,
I'll wait some appropriate amount of time and then commit the version
number bump patch and slide the tags.
