Hi Guys,

I've just installed FreeBSD-2.2.6-STABLE here and I'm having a little =
problem. I used the generic installation kernel and modified just a =
little with the visual config. The problem is that when the kernel is =
starting, it doesn't find my sio0 (COM1/0x3f8 irq 4). I use Win95 and =
Linux RedHat on the same machine and both are working.

My machine description is:

P200MMX
64MB RAM
TX3 motherboard with Intel chipset (I don't know the manufacturer. The =
BIOS string is ALi5135-2A59ISE9C-00)
Trident TGUI9680 2Mb PCI Video Card
PEL-1600 SCSI Controller (Compatible with AHA152x using 0x340, irq 12)
3C590 Ethernet Card
AZTECH AZT/2316R Sound Card
JVC XW-R2022 Cd-Writer (SCSI)
USR 33.6 Voice/Fax/Modem using COM2, irq 3
Fujitsu 3.2 Gb and Western Digital 850 Mb

On the BIOS, the first serial port is enabled as 0x3F8/IRQ 4, the second =
serial port is disabled as the modem uses it.

When I boot my FreeBSD, it says:

sio0 not founf at 0x3F8
sio1 found at 0x2F8 and it is a 16550A (not exactly like this).

Any help?

P.S. On the visual kernel configuration at the installation, I didn't =
see any comments of a serial mouse in the input section. There was only =
PS/2, Bus Mouse and Sysconf console driver...
