For the most part, web access works quite well, with the exception of some websites. Sites like excite or netscape come up fine, whereas sites like mapquest or elecomm.net give me the message in the browser window of "Site contacted, waiting for reply", but I never get any info from the server. Those same sites when accessed from the gateway machine in lynx come up normally. I've tried different permutations of unregistered_only, use_sockets, and the other alias options for ppp, to no avail. I've even shut off firewalling in the kernel, and it's the same thing. Any ideas as to why some sites would come up, and some wouldn't? Rather frustrated, J.
