            Bug ID: 227744
Summary: www/chromium: Provide an option to switch between noto
                    and noto-lite
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: chromium@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: lantw44@gmail.com
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(chromium@FreeBSD.org)
          Assignee: chromium@FreeBSD.org

I am not sure whether this is a valid feature request ...

I know noto is a very large package, and it is not good to have a large pac=
kage
(chromium) to depend on an even larger one (noto). However, for people who =
need
CJK fonts, they now have duplicate files on disks because both noto (manual=
ly
installed) and noto-lite (pulled in by chromium) are installed. Do you thin=
k it
is a good idea to provide an option to switch between these two packages?
