Hello Gentlefolk, In the next couple of weeks, I will be removing Kerberos IV from -CURRENT. I will also be re-organizing the Kerberos 5 bits so that the utilities have their `normal' names (e.g. `kinit' rather than `k5init') and replacing Kerberos 4 support with Kerberos 5 support in applications so far as that is possible (e.g. TELNET, cvs). For those of you who do use Kerberos IV, I would appreciate it very much if you could try the security/krb4 port. If you run into trouble or have suggestions, please let me know. Better yet, send patches for the port! In fact, if you are a committer that uses Kerberos IV, please consider maintaining the security/krb4 port. Cheers, -- Jacques A.
