Yes, it seemed that way to me, too.  "Imitation is the sincerest form
of flattery".  I'd guess that your article inspired him to install
FreeBSD, and he liked what he saw.

I don't know if "laughable" is the right term.  I wrote to him and
sent him some corrections, anyway.
