If we're going to fix it for 10.3 I'm going to need those details ASAP.

You only need an updated boot1.efi so I've built one for you here:
http://blog.multiplay.co.uk/dropzone/freebsd/r295732-boot1.efi

If you have a serial console that will be useful for capturing the debug,
otherwise it does run slowly so screenshots can be used as a fallback.
