I went down that road and regretted it. I installed linux-mozilla
which complained about GLIBC versions. So I upgraded linux_base to
linux_base-7. After doing that Mozilla worked, but java and javac
would just core dump and not do anything else.

In the end I had to revert to native mozilla and downgrade the
linux_base.
