Hi,

I would like to know how to compile kernel when a new directory is added into kernel sources?

Suppose in the new directory, I want to have one makefile and use it from the main Makefile. So what is the configuration files that I need to edit to compile?

I know the normal way of adding the list of files to /sys/conf/files but how to compile a new directory with a new makefile init?

Any suggestions and pointers to documentation will be appreciated.

Please cc to this address and also gbnaidu@sasken.com as I am not subsribed to this list.

thanks
--gb
