Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hi, I would like to know how to compile kernel when a new directory is added into kernel sources? Suppose in the new directory, I want to have one makefile and use it from the main Makefile. So what is the configuration files that I need to edit to compile? I know the normal way of adding the list of files to /sys/conf/files but how to compile a new directory with a new makefile init? Any suggestions and pointers to documentation will be appreciated. Please cc to this address and also gbnaidu@sasken.com as I am not subsribed to this list. thanks --gb ______________________________________________________ 123India.com - India's Premier Portal Get your Free Email Account at http://www.123india.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
