There isn't really a "patch" per-se.  Just a bunch of recommendations
on where to put extra debugging information.  You'll find it in the
archives.

As you might guess, I'm also being bitten by this.  Could you point me
to the thread in hardware@ please, I've been unable to find it searching
the archives.  I'm guessing "bce" is not part of the title?
