It might help if you explained a bit - how exactly is it that you
cannot log in?  Your client cannot establish a TCP connection to
the FTP site, or it does not receive the ProFTPD headers, or it
cannot log in as anonymous, or it logs in and then the server terminates
the connection with some message/explanation, or...?
