No it does not.  See netbsd, openbsd and linux for free operating
systems for the DEC Alpha AXP.  The URL I gave you was for a pre-alpha 
in-development version of FreeBSD/Alpha.  It is not included on 2.2.6
CDs.  I'm not even sure if it runs at all period (yet).
