I was very recently introduced to FreeBSD and I really like it. My
only problem so far is with my internet connection. I connect using a
LAN (3C509b PCI card), and I'm getting ping times of ~2990 to
yahoo.com, while on another computer going over the same network I'm
getting ~109.

Any ideas? I tried recompiling the kernel making sure I had the 3C50x
driver to no avail.

Thanks in advance for any help.
