>Environment:
Jun 14 buffalo.edu Generic amd64
>Description:
When using the shell "shutdown now" command my dv7-1130US laptop halts all process and then displays:

Shutdown writing entropy file.
Terminated.

Enter Full path name of shell or Return for /bin/sh.

But the system does not powerdown. I would expect the software to be "smart" enough to turn off the power switch as other operating systems do. At a minimum the system should state after "Terminated", "It is now safe to turn off the computer."
>How-To-Repeat:

>Fix:
The software should be smart enough to throw the power to the off position. If I wanted a reboot, I will type in reboot not shutdown.
