Seems a good idea: I'll do that, unless of course Ruslan wants to do
it himself.

At least one of the present MBRs is a bit too strictly correct,
and supports booting only from hard drive 0, which is all IBM/Microsoft
officially support.  It'd probably make life a bit easier to allow
booting from any hard drive.
