but if you try to fdisk a sun disk, it won't do you much good since
I doubt OpenBoot on sparc hardware knows what to do.. so trying to
use generic information on how to partition a disk on all platforms
is bound to fail...  heck, you could put a bsdlabel on a disk that
goes into the sun, or any label for that matter now that we have
geom (I've succesfully read apple's label on sparc)..  it's more
of a question of making sure it boots...

Making a disk bootable is quit platform specific..
