[ you haven't said which FreeBSD- from the messages it's >= 3.X ] 1. 'mt' needs a tape in the drive to open, except for rsaN.ctl. 2. add device ch to your config file, rebuild, install, reboot. Note that the changer only shows up as the 'pass' device. 3.
