Read all the man pages starting with yp. I also found "Managing NFS and
NIS by Hal Stern _very_ helpful. You have also gotten some good pointers
from others, too.

Finally, I put a small tutorial up, based on my own experiences starting
from scratch. It is at www.realtime.net/sculpture. Just follow the
FreeBSD links.
