Dan, Dan, whoa! Hold 'er up there fella. Been answering a lot of
questions lately, you might want to consider them a little more
closely first. ppp.conf has nothing to do with serial consoles.

Tyler, have a look at ttys(5). See also,

  /usr/src/sys/i386/boot/biosboot/README.serial
