What message? <g>. One moment it was 'make install'-ing lynx, the next
moment I had a black screen followed by the usual cold boot messages.
Unless there is a place where potential pre-crash error messages get
stored, I don't think we'll ever know whether there was any message.

I myself was sitting behind another system at the moment and could
only observe from the corner of my eye.
