Well, I thought Justin would say something about this thread, but evidently
he hasn't seen fit to respond.

IIRC, he has been planning to revamp the way the number of tagged openings
is calculated.  (I think he's planning on making the algorithim a little
more complex, and allow the number of openings to go back up, etc.)  Once
he does that, he said that he was planning on nuking the message, or maybe
just make it pop up in certain circumstances.

So, it won't stay around forever, and there are plans to do something about
it. :)
