FreeBSD boci.gedos.hu 4.6-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.6-RELEASE #7: Thu Aug 8 00:46:42 GMT 2002 root@boci.gedos.hu:/usr/src/sys/compile/Portocom i386
>Description:
In my notebook, the soundcard and the inline mode use IRQ 10. If I compile into the kernel the pcm driver (SiS7018) , on the boot proccess the system is halted. If I load the sound module the system is halted (not normal halt process, system is crashed).
And when I try to install the BSD the setup is halted when It's try the IRQ 10. (If I get out the network devices the setup is work)
>How-To-Repeat:
I have Portocom FreeStar 340S2 notebook with 6G HDD and 256Mb ram.
Standard architecture. If I load pcm or sound module the system is halted.
