That was true, but kgdb is now an entierly new beast written by
marcel that does the various Freebsd specific stuff without required
integration with gdb.  IIRC, the big benefit is that we can change our
debugging interface without having to deal with all the gdb paperwork
issues for anyone who touches the debugger.
