When printing to a remote host, it's the remote host that decides
whether to make a header page or not.  Nothing you can do locally will
disable or enable header pages.  You'll have to use the configuration
options on the HP network printer to disable header pages.

Yep.  It's yet another limitation (feature?) of the LPD protocol. :-(
