OK, I was wrong, I could give it a try now. :) It seems to work! -DDEBUG=1 and no panic. Just to be sure I tried to revert the patch, and sure enough, solaris assert panic at that line. The backup script (aka. real world test) also did not panic, which it did before. Regards, Thomas
