Hi,

I have the BSD-Server running! Thank you all again for your help....
But when I try to connect to my server from one of the workstations (in a
LAN) the workstation keeps doing a name lookup and doesn't get any result.
When I put on all the traces in Trumpet Winsock I can see the samen message
being sent hundreds of times. After a while the workstation sais that he
can't doe the name lookup.

But I'm trying a name lookup on host.jcn.nl. The FreeBSD-host on the LAN.
The IP-number is defined in the /etc/hosts file. And the /etc/resolv.conf
tells the system to look in the hosts file first. What else can I do to get
the workstation to succeed in the name-lookup?

Thank!
