What's the difference between EISA and ISA? Yes. EISA is ``Extended ISA'', and provides a 32-bit datapath to the cards, while ISA only provides a 16-bit datapath. However, EISA is backwards compatible, so you can plug ISA cards into an EISA slot and have them work. -- Jonathan
