I installed XFree86-4.0.1_5 but it wouldn't run ;-() admin$startx Fatal server error: Cannot open log file "/var/log/XFree86.0.log" When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send the full server output, not just the last messages. This can be found in the log file "/var/log/XFree86.0.log". Then I go to /var/log and touch XFree86.0.log - no luck. 4.2-BETA. Am I totally out of luck?? Back to 336??
