I'm considering adopting FreeBSD. Since I'm doing a lot of Java development I would like to have information about the general "Java on FreeBSD" situation. Is a Java virtual machine available for FreeBSD? If so what version? Is there a JDK equivalent available? How about Java IDEs? If so, are any free? Is there somewhere where I can get this info?
