I have problem with backup. I have SureStore Tape6000 my system recognize

Apr 8 14:13:38 tps /kernel: st0(aha0:5:0): Sequential-Access density code 0x24, variable blocks, write-enabled

I have also one fdd (3,5"), 2 fixed disks and CDROM =>

Apr 8 14:13:38 tps /kernel: fdc0 at 0x3f0-0x3f7 irq 6 drq 2 on isa
Apr 8 14:13:38 tps /kernel: fdc0: FIFO enabled, 8 bytes threshold

Apr 8 14:13:38 tps /kernel: wdc0 at 0x1f0-0x1f7 irq 14 on isa
Apr 8 14:13:38 tps /kernel: wdc0: CMD640B workaround enabled

Apr 8 14:13:38 tps /kernel: wdc1 at 0x170-0x177 irq 15 on isa
Apr 8 14:13:38 tps /kernel: wdc1: unit 0 (atapi): <ATAPI CDROM/V1.80>, removable, dma, iordy
Apr 8 14:13:38 tps /kernel: wcd0: 4153Kb/sec, 120Kb cache, audio play, 255 volume levels, ejectable tray
Apr 8 14:13:38 tps /kernel: wcd0: 120mm audio disc loaded, unlocked

All these devices work fine but when I type something like:

dump -0a /disk2 (or / or /usr) streamer starts writing process...
after 30s-2min computer reboot :((( What's the problem? is some logfile
produced by dump process? I'd try do "mt erase" and also replace tape by
another 4GB tape but it seems same way :(
