OK, I'm trying to su and do something. The system's been working just
fine for a long time, I last logged in a few hours ago and su'd with no
problems, logged out to try out a change or two I'd made, and here's what
happens now:
{~} mortis:{102} %whoami
fullermd
{~} mortis:{103} %who am i
fullermd ttyp0 Aug 2 19:57 (:0.0)
{~} mortis:{104} %su
Alias loop.
{~} mortis:{105} %su root
Alias loop.
{~} mortis:{106} %su fullermd
Alias loop.
{~} mortis:{107} %

Here's a list of what I did:
1) installed a few ports (xbill, gnuchess, gnugo, maybe 1 or 2 more)
2) added a group w/ 3 members (root, myself, and one other person)
3) played xbill
4) a few files (user files, all) got transfered between mortis and another
machine.
That's all.
Now, why can't I su?????
I can still login as root, but...

Thanks for your time, and congratulations on a wonderful OS!!!
