I hope that someone can help me with this: I'm trying to get a HP StorageWorks DAT 72i drive running in a Compaq ML370 (Rev. P17, i. e. the 1st generation). The tape drive is properly connected to the machine, at least I am assuming this since the Smart Array Controller is detecting it while starting up. Only the GENERIC kernel of FreeBSD 4.9 - RELEASE #0 is not: nothing about device "sa0" in the output of dmesg. Any advice is appreciated! Stephan.
