Hello,

I try to install a small firewall on a 486 with 2 ethernet card. I
have successfully intalled FreeBSD-Stable (3.1). And I want to create
a kernel smaller than GENERIC on a PII computer which compile a lot
faster and install it with ftp.

For all the kernels I try to install, I get this message at boot time
with my new kernel :

       elf_loadexec:archsw.readin failed
       can't load module '/kernel': input/output error.

I have tried different configurations and I get this message even with
GENERIC !

Somebody can help ?

Thanks.
