If the machine can't feed the burner with enough data and even
buffering doesn't help much (overloaded system or whatever),
then this burn proof technology lets the CD-Writer continue to
write "as if data had been there available", so that in the end
the CD-ROM isn't fully saturated with data, but *useable*.
