Looks like you've got a broken ldap server or misconfigured ldap/sendmail
setup.

Also the 3.x branch will continue till about 3.6 or 3.7 i forget what the
last scheduled timeline was terminated at.

And 4.x should become the main supported stable branch in a few months. As
it is, a good portion of the developers are focusing on the -current branch.
