I am trying to get fingerd to run an alternate program w/o much success.
My inetd.conf looks like this :

finger stream tcp nowait nobody /usr/libexec/fingerd fingerd -s
-p /etc/finger.msg

I am trying to get it to run a simple shell script that echos some info.
Is this dangerous?
