I'd probably use a more elaborate regexp, if this is made part of a
batch, automated tool though:

sed -e 's/^#[[:space:]]*define[[:space:]][[:space:]]*\([^[:space:]]\)/#define^I\1/'

(Note the ^I in the second pattern, and replace that with a TAB).
This will correctly style(9)'ify things like:

	#define FOO
	#define       BAR
	#define   BAZ

	#if FOO_BAR
	#    define LALA
	#endif

Just thought I'd mention this in case someone likes using it.
