Ah I see, it does TakeDevice then ReleaseDevice instantly=2E

Are you seeing messages in sway output that say something about e=2Eg=2E a=
 mouse not being tagged as a mouse etc=2E?

I don't remember if I said this in the original post, but you need to have=
 the kern=2Eevdev=2Einput sysctls (they're not there yet in 12=2E0, but sho=
uld be in 12=2E1) and an up to date libudev-devd (from github=2Ecom/FreeBSD=
Desktop) that uses them=2E
