hello. i read some about freebsd and thought it was a pretty good system bla bla bla... and after reading the handbook i desierd to install it into my litle 386, so i read some more and downloaded the files i needed (kern.flp, mfsroot.flp and all the bin.aa, bin.ab etc..) included it into three diffrent floppy's (one with kern.flp, one with mfsroot.flp and one with all the other files, five at the time beginning with bin.aa, bin.ab, bin.ac, bin.ad, and bin.ae) the way you wrote in the handbook...
 
everyting works perfectly until i am about to mount the root and the other.. it seems that i have too litle memory (101mb ;-) anyhow, i read the helptext (F1), the root only need 20mb and the /usr only need's 80mb.. the swap need 2*memory, and that i don't have. soo.. i decides to give the root 20mb and the /usr 80mb and swap gets the rest (one poor megabyte)..
 
here comes the problem, it says "unable to make new root filesystem on /dev/ad0s1a! command returned status 36" and then another message comes "couldn't make filesystems properly. aborting.", and then a funny litle message comes that says "installation completed with some errors. etc.." completed with SOME errors? heh..
 
i need help! what am i doing wrong? (the third floppy including bin.aa etc is inside the computor when i get this messages...)
