Hi Adrian,

Stefan is seeing the same issue I've started seeing in February.

We're both using ASUS UX32VDs
(https://wiki.freebsd.org/Laptops/ASUS_UX32VD).

What's the actual fix for it?

There's a backlight_invert tunable/hint that you can set in
/boot/loader.conf . Try setting it to 1 and rebooting.
