Use CVSup to update your sources to the latest RELENG_2_2. This sounds
like the AAP (auto-access pause) problem Justin described in a message on
the freebsd-scsi list the other day. We were seeing it a little while ago
on a 2.1.7 machine but it cleared up when the AAP stuff was removed.
